The reporting process has now started for the formal report to the EU for the end of
the First Reporting Period. Science reports should be made through the work packages by adding to the
documents
prepared on the SharePoint VOCAL site.
These, and completed Forms C (financial statements) need to be handed to the Programme Office by
30th September. Please see this timeline for all tasks and deadlines that need to be completed.

The ice2sea Consortium Agreement is finally agreed! It is now with each of the
partners to sign and return to BAS.

The first Open Forum Meeting dates have now been confirmed:
16th-17th March 2010.
This will be held at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland, with local organisation
arranged by Jacek Jania. More details, including a call for abstracts, will be sent out
shortly.

The first early career scientist for the Steering Committee has been confirmed as
Louise Sørensen, from the National Space Institute, Geodynamics Department at DTU-Space,
Denmark.

Ice2sea programme starts!
Ice2sea is a science programme that is funded by the European Union Framework-7 scheme. Ice2sea will improve projections of the contribution of ice to future sea-level rise.
